Trafficking
The
definition of trafficking is extremely broad. It encompasses such
things as the actual transfer of drugs, the offer to transfer drugs,
and a transfer of a substance which is not a drug but is purported
by the accused to be a drug. The prosecution does not need to prove
that the accused intended to profit from the transaction.
Evidence
used by the prosecution is trafficking cases may involve the use
of undercover police officers, informants, and wiretap evidence.
These are obviously complex cases and prompt legal advice will assist
you in planning your defence.
